Dear all,
Feb 17 is the traditional Chinese New Year Eve. Very lucky that it is in the Long Weekend. Let’s cheer up, and celebrate it! :) I have some rough ideas in my mind:
1. host a party (like last time our Indian classmates did) in Babson or in some other place
2. invite one or two bands to perform
3. invite some outside communities to join us (not sure about how many people will come)
and so on.
Please brainstorm what we can creatively and attractively do for the celebration. :) Let’s discuss this issue on Saturday since all of us are going to the HBS conference.

They are all good ideas. But we only have one week and we are all in Mod III. And most of us are not available this weekend and the outstanding homework simply accumulates.
So realistically thinking, I think we can just go to Liao Si Chuan to eat and play card games afterwards. Then we don’t need to worry about cooking, preparation etc.

The Chinese New Year Eve is on Feb 17, I don’t understand why we need to be available this weekend.

Also, as a MBA, not like any other academic majors, study is very important, but it should not be our whole life. I was planning to invite some HBS/Harvard/MIT communities to socialize with us, but I am very flexible if you guys don’t want it because of the heavy homework.

By the way, we can ask for some organization (ABF or GSM) to financially support us.

Me,PP, Betty,(都可以,需要什么帮忙给我打个招呼。)

any options are OK to me. And I am availabe to do some volunteer job if you guys need.

Currently seems dining-out is more preferable for the New Year Eve, according to the heavy schedule of Module III. I am pretty fine with it.

 Monday, February 12, 2007 12:32 PM (这封信已经是这周的了,上面的是上周的)
Me,PP,Betty:(只要有吃的,我都没意见,时间地点?)

Dining-out is always welcomed for me. When and where.

Anything is ok for me. Just kindly mention that if we want to order Tianfu, we have to decide menu now.

How about going to restaurant in Chinatown? Better food and atmosphere there.  I was told “Penang” in Chinatown has great food and similar price with Laosichuan.  I will ask whether it receives reservation today.

Jenny(我同意Jin,我们总得有个时间离开Wellesley这个小破地儿找个新鲜的地方吧)

I vote for this. We should out of Wellesley area for something new.

Mon 2/12/2007 2:15 PM

I have been to Penang, that was good. BUT that is not a “pure” Chinese restaurant. It’s kind of a mix type restaurant.
Just a reminder, if u guys want to have Chinese 年夜飯, we may consider other place.
I’m flexible with it if everyone goes for it.

I agree with Nichol. I have been to Peng in Harvard square quite a few times. It is an Malaysia restaurant.
