了不起的哈佛女孩Vivien I
Vivien就是王圆，是上篇提到的那个struggling在学习中, 在professional vs. academic的女生。她虽然痛苦，但不茫然。今天来说说她，关于她本人，她的申请之路，和她如何做到不茫然。
Vivien在哈佛读书，是标准的哈佛女孩 (哈哈，这个词比较火，我也凑热闹)，她也是BeBeyond 2006年7月班的学员，是大家羡慕的对象，她在哈佛，她bf (也是BeBeyond 2006年7月班的学员)在斯坦福读书，就是上几篇中提到的James同学。
关于Vivien可写的东西很多，她的申请之路很坎坷，GRE考了两次，托福考了三次。她做申请够拼命，去老
师家和老师请教问题，竟然累的在老师家的沙发上睡着了。她把BBY的be Crazy and Stupid精神发挥的淋漓尽致，比方说，张信哲来北大，作为哲迷的她，通过联系唱片公司，北大接待团体等途径搞到了活动的记者证，然后在一件白色T shirt下，用北大外语学院所有的语种写了我爱你。并在活动现场亲手送给张信哲，并合影留念。呼呼，够猛吧。
不过这不是Vivien的全部。真实的Vivien还包括，在大年初四的清晨和午夜，短信我说我是不是没有希望了…在三月中的某天，在她第三次考托，却没有拿到UW的offer时，她说为什么命运对我如此不公平，我做这些有意义吗?
生活就是这样，有ups and downs，会在你最脆弱的时候釜底抽薪，也会给你承受不了的幸福。不过，生活总是公平的，至少对努力投入的Vivien, 最后她去了Harvard.
这绝不是故事的结束，Vivien还面临很多挑战，比如: 她读的是硕士，在神学院，搞宗教。以后如果要作faculty, 肯定要读Ph.D. 如果不想做学术，那么她的教育背景就太liberal arts了，需要在Harvard期间做调整，比方说选些什么课，结交些什么人…里面涉及的都是大问题。
嗯，这些都先不说。关于Vivien的第一辑，从她appreciate people说起。在她赴美前收到她的邮件，谈到BBY对她的帮助。很意外，因为很少有人那么正式的感谢我们。虽然是一封邮件，真的感觉到Vivien的真诚，和她对人的感激。我认为这是人的一个重要品质。(又想起去年的学员Jie, 每次找她帮忙，总是她在说谢谢，谢谢你对我的信任。这不是矫情，而是她为人的一部分。这也是无论她在那里实习或工作，总有很多人真诚得想帮助她。Jie的故事以后再说。她也是一个传奇人物。)

Are you sleeping now? I think you always stay up this late. Take care of yourself. I always think about writing to you before I go to US.
What I want to say is that you and BBY really teach me a lot and help me so much. You help me the way to solve problems, not only for application, but for other things. I learned ‘ you have no time for worrying but finding for solutions” from you. I learn how to display the best ME before others, I learn I have confidence to overcome difficulties. Thanks to you, I grow up and become mature. I consider you as one of my best friends and advisors in my heart, though sometimes I am not good at expressing my true feeling. I know I will face more challenging situation and competitive academic environment. But I believe through the whole way you and BBY company me, I can succeed and never give up. Then BBY will also grow into a huge organization. Keep in contact;）BTW, I have replied ZZ’s letter.

Dear Yuan, Thanks so much. I am so happy to read it. Have you left for US or you already arrived in US? I want to say I also learned a lot from you for the optimism and perseverance you demonstrated along the way. Also you are so decisive. I always wonder why you choose to attend BBY, for it is quite some money given your parents’ economic situation. You know sometimes financial burden will change a person, but I never saw it in you, who is in most time very very positive. When I know more about you, I feel that you are great girl having great personal strength. Keep it dear. It is your treasure. I feel honored to be your friend and let’s wait to celebrate our success!
